“The “herreña” in search of the seventh art”

Interview with Aïda Ballmann in the newspaper El Día

Aïda Ballmann, best actress of the year for Film Bizarro, recounts her first cinematographic experiences after succeeding in Atlanta as the protagonist of the Andalusian feature film “The Extraordinary Tale”.

Last weekend she returned to El Hierro, her native island, to disconnect from work and enjoy her family after filming a collaboration in the series “Águila Roja”, where she plays an Englishwoman. At first glance, hardly anyone could place this young woman with crystalline eyes, blonde hair and white skin on what was once Meridian Island, but Aïda Ballmann (1985) is a “herreña” with German genes.
